Check the account path
Open Leadership → Collection and confirm the intended Total Battle account and game subaccount. Review the current failure state before replacing anything.
Clan leaders and superiors can review the failure and the collection settings available to their role. Only the clan leader can replace credentials, refresh the linked-account list, pause collection, or resume collection.
If game authentication failed, the clan leader should check the Total Battle game login and update it only through the secure setup form. A mailbox password is separate from the game password.
If email verification failed, check the method selected in Collection setup:
- Mail: check the mailbox receiving Total Battle codes, the IMAP provider and username, and the app password or other access required by the provider guide.
- Mail forwarding (beta): check the sender-specific rule, the Runekist destination shown in setup, provider confirmation and whether the rule is enabled. Forward only Total Battle verification emails and keep an inbox copy. Provider or organization restrictions may prevent forwarding. Runekist does not need your mailbox password for this method; changing it does not repair a forwarding rule. Both methods still need your game login.
See Complete collector setup for the two procedures. Completing provider steps or receiving a test email does not prove that game sign-in succeeded. The first successful login populates the linked-account list, so wait for it to finish or return later before choosing an account. The clan leader can refresh the list if an expected account is still missing. Select the intended account and explicitly resume collection when ready. A service delay does not require a password change.
Repeated attempts can make account recovery harder. Ask the clan leader to pause collection while resolving account access if necessary, and wait until Runekist explicitly reports that the account is ready before using it. Never send passwords, mailbox credentials, or 2FA secrets to support; provide the failure type and time instead.
